Thanks for the kind comment. Everyone I know that surfs and has seen it seems to have met mr poostance. Wierd huh?

Anyway... count yourself lucky, we don't get to see surf films here in the UK on the ol' big screen so I won't get to see the film for at least another year.

Stoked that One California Day is coming our way on Thursday. Definitely won't miss it!

We went to the Thursday show. I thought the film was beautifully shot and the soundtrack was good but not great. I actually wish there was less surfing and more about the peoples lives. It really seemed like it was scratching at the surface and I wanted to know more about the coastal regions these people live in. The film was really, really long and I would rather have seen it broken up into three different films about the three different regions. Other all is was a nice film and I’ll by the DVD. I enjoyed watching Alex Knost longboard, Tyler Warren on his shortboard and Devon Howard on the egg. Dane Perlee surfing near the light house was interesting and Sand Spit is always a neat wave to watch. Jimmy Gamboa is one funny guy. Mitch Abshire, who’s one of my favorite surfers to watch was said to be in the film but I don’t remember seeing him. -MR
